Description: The Bull Terrier when properly trained tends to be friendly and has a good temperament. Known for their sense of humor the Bull Terrier is an outgoing dog with a dominant nature who needs firm handling by their owner. The Bull Terrier is a tenacious fighter. The Bull Terrier is most often dog-aggressive and has a high prey drive towards small animals such as cats.

Care and Training: A Bull Terrier coat should be brushed with a firm bristle brush. Bathe only when necessary. Rubbing of the Bull Terrier coat will keep it shiny and clean. A Bull Terrier needs plenty of exercise. The Bull Terrier should be kept on a leash when in public. Puppies need early socialization to prevent them from becoming dominant.
